Maintain feedback rules

Manager users in the Authors role can set or remove a feedback rule for a document or folder.

Set a feedback rule for a document

When the folder tree is displayed:

  1. Select a document.

  2. Select Details & Actions > Miscellaneous > Feedback recipients.

    The Feedback recipients pane displays.

  3. Click Add rule.

    The Feedback recipients dialog box displays.

  4. Complete the following fields:

    Field

    Instruction

    Sender

    1. Click . The Role Selector window displays.

    2. Select a role.

    3. Click Add role(s). The Sender field populates with the selected role.

    Receiver

    1. Click . The Role Selector window displays.

    2. Select a role.

    3. Click Add role(s). The Receiver field is populated with the selected role.

  5. Click Add rule.

  6. Click Save.

    Manager saves the new feedback rule.

Set a feedback rule for a folder

When the folder tree is displayed:

  1. Select a folder.

  2. Select Details & Actions > Miscellaneous > Feedback recipients. The Feedback recipients pane displays.

  3. Click Add rule.

    The Feedback recipients dialog box displays.

  4. Complete the following fields:

    Field

    Instruction

    Sender

    1. Click . The Role Selector window displays.

    2. Select a role.

    3. Click Add role(s). The Sender field populates with the selected role.

    Receiver

    1. Click . The Role Selector window displays.

    2. Select a role.

    3. Click Add role(s). The Receiver field is populated with the selected role.

  5. Click Add rule.

  6. Click Save.

    Manager saves the new feedback rule.

Remove a feedback rule from a document

When the folder tree is displayed:

  1. Select a document.

  2. Select Details & Actions > Miscellaneous > Feedback recipients.

    The Feedback recipients pane displays.

  3. Click Delete rule.

    Manager strikes out the selected feedback rule.

  4. Click Save.

    Manager removes the selected rules.

Remove a feedback rule from a folder

When the folder tree is displayed:

  1. Select a folder.

  2. Select Details & Actions > Miscellaneous > Feedback recipients.

    The Feedback recipients pane displays.

  3. Click Delete rule.

    Manager strikes out the selected feedback rule.

  4. Click Save.

    Manager removes the selected rules.
